Design matters.
Design is communication. It is art. It is about ideas, communicating beyond the words to speak to the heart as well as the mind. It is about aesthetics, about order and chaos.
What draws us to good design? There’s something about it that changes how we think and live. There’s something we love about the process of creating, whether it is making a painting, drawing a sketch, inventing new technology, experimenting in the kitchen, or writing a song.
The creativity we manifest in our lives is a gift. Design abounds around us in the natural world, a gift itself from our Creator who points us to Himself. While we may achieve great things through the our creativity, our best efforts are merely a a small reflection of our Maker.
